Royal Beach presents a unique opportunity to develop the last significant piece of waterfront land in the City of Colwood, a responsibility that the owner, Seacliff Properties, does not take lightly.
Designed to celebrate the panoramic ocean views, sun exposure and spectacular waterfront location, Royal Beach will be a vibrant new mixed-use community, offering a collection of single-family homes, townhomes and condominiums along with a robust non-residential component including retail and office space, among others.
Intertwined throughout the community will also be 50+ acres of oceanfront and ocean-view parkland and open spaces, shaped to connect 10 Special Places throughout the property, all of which will be interconnected by a comprehensive trail network. This extensive parks network will become the defining feature of Royal Beach, and a major component in creating this world-class community.
An application to amend the Official Community Plan and rezone the property was submitted in May 2019, and the public process is now underway. Please check back for updates as we continue to work through this process.
